The bridge between Modern Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine

Learning Objectives:

  1. Theory of 'Channels & Collaterals' of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) describes physiology and pathology of intercellular space; theory of 'Zang & Fu organs' describes physiology and pathology of cells and sub-cellular organelles.
  2. Despite of differences in terminology used in TCM and modern Western medicine, their description of a man is analogous to each other.
  3. Cellular therapy is a bridge between modern Western and traditional Eastern medical systems.

The founder of Psychosomatic Energetics (PSE), Dr. Reimar Banis, herein describes the fundamentals and possibilities of the method. Proceeding from the assumption that subconscious conflicts play a central role in disease etiology, Psychosomatic Energetics deals with the detec- tion and identification of emotional conflicts in the human energy field, and then healing them by means of specially formulated homeopathic compound remedies.  ~ Editor: Inge Ziegler, Sc.D.

Introduction: conflicts as disease causes

According to psychoanalytic theory, subconscious con- flicts play a significant role in the origin of many somatic ailments and psychological disorders. Because the conflicts in question are repressed and stored in the subconscious, orthodox medicine usually fails to recognize them, and thus they go untreated. Subconscious conflicts should also be taken into consideration for behavioral disorders, child- rearing difficulties and many other psychological problems. This applies especially to somatoform disorders (physiologi- cal ailments with psychological causes) and therapy-resistant disease pictures such as chronic pain or exhaustion with no objective cause, for which experience has shown that a co- cause can be found in these subconscious conflicts.
